Caerphilly Castle A ;7 - 0; Pontypridd
Seventh Heaven back on a winning streak after a couple of losses Caerphilly Ladies get back on a winning run scoring 7 goals in each of there last three games against Dinas Powys, Tiry- Birth ,and finally Pontypridd Ladies . A good solid performance in each of these games enabled Caerphilly Ladies to secure all three points the last game against Pontypridd was only the first time the Caerphilly coaches were able to start with the same eleven players for two weeks on the trot and this turned out to be a good winning formula .The game started well for Caerphilly with them dominating the first half with Taylor and Stratton surging forward down the wings and playing some neat crosses but the the Ponty goal held out against the Caerphilly attack. The game somehow reached halftime without any Caerphilly goals but that soon changed second half with Goals from Sara speedy Tynetta 2 ,Sammy B 1, Baby Becks 1, Tall Vicki 1, Stratton 1, and last but not least Gemma who opened the scoring with a bicycle kick . All the goals were superb and came from hard work and determination. But scoring goals alone does not win games the defence was outstanding and once again kept a clean sheet another one for Sue well done . Sara Rambo went off injured (get fit soon ) Speedy Sarah and Claire also got a rest and these were replaced by Pikey, Sammy B,and Kellywelly all did a great job all these were marshalled by their captain Leanne who once again led by example well done Mucka keep up the good team work girls and the good results will follow.

Margam 0 - 6 Caerphilly Ladies A
Well done Ladies, three wins on the trot and the best yet. Merthyr first, followed by Tir-y- Birth and the best performance yet, 6- 0 against a gutsy young Margam outfit. A slow start to this game with Margam working hard to keep Caerphilly at bay with chances galore going begging but then the deadlock was broken with a lovely through pass from powerful midfielder Taylor, the ball was received by young V. Stratton who cooley fired the ball home . With the score at 0 - 1 to Caerphilly at the start of the second half, Leanne must have fed the the girls raw meat at half time because they came ROARING out and took the second half by storm with clever work from goalkeeper Sue sending out long kicks using the outstanding pace and work rate from Timmy & Sarah up front creating goals for themselves and we were soon 0 - 3 up. More goals came from Sarah T, Vicky S, and a thumping goal by Vicki defender. With the score at 6 - 0 to Caerphilly there was no let up the defence tackled like the game was at a knife edge and the midfield pushed forward like the Zulu at Rourks Drift. Great entertaining football ladies, Well Done. This week Caerphilly entertain a strong Blaenavon side who hope to do a job on you girls so lets step it up a gear again.
